Brian began his career here at Mélisse as the Head Bartender when they opened. As the Sommelier, Brian feels he “has the best job in town…I get to blow people away with amazing wines paired next to Chef Josiah’s incredibly refined and elegant flavors. It isn’t as much like work as entertaining friends!”
You can find Brian at the restaurant almost any night of the week, always making time for conversation, service and unique wine pairings from Boutique and high end vintners. After 15 years, he is still pouring his wines with passion and enthusiasm.
One philosophy shared with him by the late Sommelier from Spago, Michael Bonaccorsi, was that “Anybody can buy wine. It is not about quantity or price. It’s about finding the right wine.” With this in mind, Brian helps all of our clients do just that.
